Corrections
PentaPost writes from the facts in the sources it names. When a brief is wrong, or a source asks to be removed, we fix it.
How to ask
The editor's address: [email protected]
Write to the PentaPost editor with the address of the page, what is wrong, and where the correct information can be found.
What happens next
- An editor checks the brief against its sources.
- A corrected brief is written again from the facts, checked again by the same automatic checks, and stored as a new revision.
- A source that asks to be removed is paused in PentaPost's source register; its reports stop appearing at the next update.
Each brief lists every source it used, with a link to the original report, so a reader can always see where a fact came from. More on how briefs are made is on How we write.
